We are thrilled to announce the acquisition of Miz Hattie's by the seasoned entrepreneurs, John and Crystal Wiggins, whose journey into the culinary world began with a simple bowl of banana pudding on March 4th, 2016. This pivotal moment occurred during one of their first dates when John claimed his banana pudding was the best Crystal would ever taste—a claim she thought was outrageous.

To prove it, he invited her as his guest to a potluck, where his friend Dee requested John’s signature banana pudding. The rave reviews from the gathering were immediate, and Crystal quickly discovered that John’s confidence was well-founded.

This success sparked a series of events that led to John founding MAGGIE & EASE, named after his parents and their 1990s restaurant, Southern Comfort. MAGGIE & EASE quickly flourished into a lucrative business selling Cold Cream Crumbles in various tantalizing flavors. John's passion for quality food, combined with Crystal's expertise in establishing an online ordering system, allowed the business to thrive and expand.



Their journey has brought them from Queens to Beacon, NY, where they now supply local restaurants, including Miz Hattie's, with their delicious creations.
